Getting There
By Plane -- The closest airport to Sun Valley is Friedman Memorial Airport (tel. 208/788-4956), 12 miles south in Hailey. There are direct flights from Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Seattle. You can also fly into Boise and take a Sun Valley Express bus (tel. 877/622-8267; www.sunvalleyexpress.com). Be sure to check availability ahead of time and book your bus ticket in advance.
By Car -- The major route into Sun Valley is Hwy. 75, which runs south from I-90 at Missoula, Montana, and north from I-84 at Twin Falls.
